𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗬𝗪𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗭𝗢𝗞𝗪𝗢𝗥 𝗮.𝗸.𝗮 (𝗠𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗚)

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘇𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗿, is a Nigerian actress, songwriter, gospel singer, and fashion designer.

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘇𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗿, aged 65 years, was born on March 25, 1958, in Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria. After her primary school education, she attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos in the southwestern part of Nigeria.

She later attended the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu, where she obtained a fine and applied arts degree.

Before starting as an actress, she was already a star before acting and first made it into a radio drama. She took part in a Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) soap opera titled 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀. In 1998 she joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood).

Some of her movies include “𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝟮", "𝗚𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲", “𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀”, “𝗞𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗢𝘂𝘁”, “𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘆", “𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝟮”, “𝗡𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗼” and “𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗺”, among many others. In addition to her numerous acting accolades, 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗚 is responsible for iconic songs like “𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗶-𝗠𝗼𝗶”, “𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆", and “𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂."

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘇𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗿 was married at age 19 and had three biological children and five adopted ones who all bear her name. She lost her husband in the year 2000.

She expressed her life’s biggest regret as not being able to marry the man of her choice and her children preventing her from remarrying after losing her husband.

After her husband’s illness and sudden death, 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘇𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗿 became a widow and concentrated all her energy on providing for her family.

The actress took it upon herself to train her children in school which she did. Currently, all her children are married and happy in their various homes.

𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘇𝗼𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗿 has proved herself in the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood. She has been very consistent in her job. She recently received the esteemed Industry Merit Award at AMVCA9 on May 20, 2023.
