mi Orí á gbémi dé ibi ire;

Hí Orí ló gbé Torofíní tó fi d'ọlọ́jà láwùjọ ọmọ Eku, 

igba Eku ló ńpé jọ sìín

Ayé wá ń kii kú oriire.....

Ifá mi Orí á gbémi dé ibi ire;

Hí Orí ló gbé Ọ̀kànbí lenje lenje tó fi d'ọlọ́jà láwùjọ ọmọ Ẹni, 

igba Ẹni ló ńpé jọ sìín,

Orí ire ni wọ́n ńkí Alárá, 

Ifá jẹ́ kí wọ́n kí mi kú oriire.....

Orí ire ni wọ́n ńkí Ajerò, 

Ifá jẹ́ kí wọ́n ó kí wa kú Orí ire.....

Orí Ire ni wọ́n kí Ọwáràngún àga

Orí ló gbé Àlùkò dé ìlú Ìkosùn, 

ibi ire l'Ọ̀pẹ̀ ńgbé mi rè, ibi ire.....

Orí ló gbé Lékeléke dé ìlú Ìkẹfun, 

ibi ire l'Ọ̀pẹ̀ ńgbé mi rè, ibi ire.....

Ọ̀tẹ́kùlẹ̀jẹ̀ agbọ̀n, 

ibi ire l'Ọ̀pẹ̀ ńgbé mi rè, ibi ire.....

TRANSLATIONS:

Ọ̀rúnmìlà said "life, like the labyrinth of a woven basket, is full of twist and turns".

I replied, "my Orí  will lead me to a good place".

He said Torofíní aligned with his destiny and his Orí led him to a good place. 

He was celebrated, to the point of adoration by a multitude of the rat family.

He said Àkárábá aligned with his destiny and his Orí led him to a good place. 

He was celebrated, even to the point of adoration by a multitude of the fish family.

He said Ọ̀kín nìnì aligned with his destiny and his Orí led him to a good place.

It is Orí that led Agbe to the city of Ìdáró, where she got her unique dark dye.

Ọ̀pẹ̀ is taking me to a good place.

It is Orí that led Aluko to the city of Ìkosùn, where she got her unique Camwood dye. 

Ọ̀pẹ̀ is leading me to a good place.

It is Orí that led Lékeléke to the city of Ìkẹfun, where she got her unique whitish dye, Ọ̀pẹ̀ is taking me to a good place.

NOTES:

Orí is known to be the divinity of destiny in Ìṣẹ̀ṣe (Yoruba traditions).

- Torofíní is a species of rat. Yorubas believed he is the chosen king among the rats.

- Àkárábá is a species of fish. Yorubas believed he is the chosen king among the fishes.

- Ọ̀kín is the Peacock.

- Òdùsọ̀ is the biggest palm nut among the Ikin that sits on the throne in front of the divination tray during divination.

- Ikin is sacred palm nuts.

- Okanbi is the name of a person. He is believed to be an heir to Odùduwà.

- Alárá is an Ancient traditional Yoruba stool/king in the city of Aramoko-Ekiti.

- Ajerò is also an Ancient traditional Yoruba stool/king in the city of Ìjerò Ekiti.

- Owarangun àga is also an Ancient traditional Yoruba stool/king in the city of Ìlá in present day Ọ̀ṣun state.

- Ọ̀pẹ̀ is the Yoruba word for the palm tree. It is also a name that Ikin Ifá is called because the Ikin (sacred palm nuts) is gotten from the palm tree.

- Agbe is the Woodcock bird

- Àlùkò is a species of the Woodcock bird

- Lékeléke is a White feathered bird

- Otekuleje agbọ̀n explains the pattern of a woven basket. It is used to explain the complexity of life, full of twists and turns.
