Why some think Pyramids of Giza were not tombs

Three pieces of evidence suggest the pyramids of Giza were not used as traditional tombs. Secondly, the Great Pyramid contains several features, like the so-called "air shafts," that do not align with typical tomb design, indicating possible alternative purposes. Lastly, no mummies or significant burial remains have been discovered within the main pyramids, unlike other known tombs where such remains are common. These points collectively challenge the assumption the pyramids of Giza were tombs and hint at a more complex function for these ancient structures.
