Save our souls as some Okada riders turn agents for ritualist (From a rescued Victim)

Every Sunday is structured to be a day to relax, restrategize and re-enegize for the new week. Mine, on the 10th October, 2021 was exceptional but the glory and Grace of God, that I am alive, recounting my ordeal with the ritualist.

I was feeling a little bit under the weather since Saturday evening. I decided to check on my family doctor at Agric., Epe. He got through my system, examined my body and made some prescriptions. I got the drugs at a nearby pharmacy and strolled down to the express, precisely at Epe Club House junction, I called on an Okada rider. I told him "Waterworks road" and alas, those words were my last statements in Epe.

The next thing I discovered was,"the shout of a woman, 'where are you taking us to ooooo'", amidst other three on a flying boat/ship. The flying boat's/ship's captain shut up our mouths with gunshots in the air. We were on water for over 3 hours till we got to a mountain cliff where I saw more than 13 others already on sit with their hair scrapped off.  My hair was skinned too and I began to gain more consciousness.

I remembered having over ₦50,000 on me and my tool, in my bag. I observed the environment and the boys consciously and prayed fervently within me. I remembered my wife at home and my kids. I summoned the courage to bargain with one of them, even if it will be my last on earth. I called one of the able-bodied men. He shouted at me (in pidgin- 'wetin b your problem?'). I told him I have ₦50,000 on me and my tools in my bag worth hundreds of thousand. He was touched by God and my talk with him was blissful. He managed to take me out of the cliff and alas, got me a bike (another Okada). I saw the sun again on Tuesday, 12th October, 2021, but this time, in Asaba, Delta state. (I gave God the glory and quickly got to one of our Anglican parish, where I gave an account of my ordeal). The priest made calls to Lagos and I got to Epe later in evening.

Glory glory to the Lord......in the highest.

I have not shared my experience to scare the good people of Epe. I have taken my time out yesterday to rest and I thought I should let the relevant authorities- security agencies, Okada unions and the citizens, be aware so that we all remain security conscious, pray fervently for ourselves and our loved ones and help bring about a safer Epe.

Epe is relatively peaceful and serene. The spate of cases of kidnapping, and other attrocities should be checked..., God being on our side and our guide.

Thanks.
