Rock drawing from before 8 thousand years showing an extinct mammal from the family bovine Syncerus antiquus.

The painting is located at the Wadi Mathendous archaeological site in southwestern Libya in the desert region of Fazzan. Syncerus antiquus was a large, shifted mammal resembling an African buffalo.  Its twisted horns could be from 1 to even 2 meters. His body was stocky but massive.
