FOOD FOR THOUGHT

When Ifá talks of Òtù Ifẹ̀, do you think it refers to only the location in present day Ọ̀ṣun state?

Then you will misunderstand Yoruba history and demography, and even misinterpret some Ifá as you won't get the deepest essence as it relates to retracing our ancient history.

Òtù Ifẹ̀ is the name given to the earth in its perfect (Olódùmarè ordained state).

The leader "Odùduwà" is the mortal human who led in the civilization of the homosapien evolving from our prehuman ancestor.

When you hear of Òtù Ifẹ̀ then, you should understand it as a state of universal harmony between humans and divine with the human conduit being Ọlofin - the Odùduwà office that represents the presence of Godinman - the oneness of man and divine.

To restore the universe back to Olódùmarè ordained harmony, we must understand the social understanding that established Òtù Ifẹ̀.

The physical location called Ifẹ̀ today in Ọ̀ṣun state is called so because of the stool of the Ọọ̀ni which is the seat of Odùduwà from where Organization/human civilization came.
