It has 16 data tables (from Ogbe to Ofun), which are addressable using 4-bit strings or hexadecimal numbers.

It also has 16 major data cells (from Eji-Ogbe to Ofun-Meji) and 240 minor data cells (from Ogbe-Oyekun to Ofun-Ose), which are addressable using 8-bit strings.

It’s a system of 256 8-bit strings, which corresponds to 8-dimensional hypercube with 256 vertices/corners.

Ifa and computer operate on the same principle. Computer stores data and as well processes stored data, ditto is ifa too. All computer data is represented using binary, a number system that uses 0s and 1s (Just as ifa uses BẸẸNI (+) ABI BẸẸKO(-)). All these binary digits can be grouped together into bytes(a unit of digital information that most commonly consists of eight bits).

I am still suspecting that the creator of computer must have understudied ifa divination system to cast about his invention, since ifa precedes computer.
