He said what Ogún Initiates

Laboured to garner 

In twenty to thirty years 

The ants will 

Spring forth one day 

To devour it 

Orunmila said let the ants

I repeated, let the ants 

Forth the earth spring

He said what Ùja Initiates

Laboured to garner 

In twenty to thirty years 

The ants will

He said what Ọ̀ṣun Initiates

Laboured to garner

In the case 

Of one's own child, Ọ̀rúnmìlà 

How will he be safe 

From these devouring ants? 

I questioned

He said except the one 

Who run to Him 

For indemnity  

He swore He will never

Open His eyes, and 

Watch any devouring ant 

Eating the works of 

His Own child

Ifá says that the one for whom Ogbè Tọ́mọpọ̀n is cast is at the risk of having his life's efforts all wasted.

The devouring ants "ètùpìn", sprouts from the earth and wreak havoc on whatever it focuses on, be it tree or house...

Ifá says that as the ètùpìn destroys the tree, eating it from inside, so will ajogún feast on the inheritance (achievements) of the one for whom Ogbè Tọ́mọpọ̀n is cast.

For your fortunes to be consolidated, you are advised to make Ẹbọ in order to forestall such occurrence.
