Apèrè ò sè rú, the Priest of Alákòlé

Cast divination for Alákòlé, child of Alàgbá wòròwòrò sosìn

He neglected the Ancestors of his father

And was propitiating the Egúngún( Ancestors) of strange fathers

If we are advised to do good and we do good

We do it for ourselves

Yes it is for our own benefit

If we are advised to do good and we don't

We do it for ourselves

Yes we shall experience the repercussion

What gave Alákòlé to be captured and killed

It was a a big rooster that gave Alákòlé away to be captured and killed.

The super story:

Alákòlé's life was in total disarray and he consulted Ifa and the Priest ( Babalawo)named above advised him that he should stop propitiating strange Ancestors and embrace his own. He was also spiritually instructed to offer sacrifice and remove all the roosters in his house but he turned deaf ears to all instructions. He was hiding in a hole when his household was invaded by Warriors but the big rooster crowing where he was hiding gave him away.

His failure to listen to simple instructions caused him his life.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THIS?

I leave that to you all but I would say that there are consequences for those who neglect their own but embrace foreign ideology.

Stay blessed.
