When we die where do we go? And where are all those who have died?

The question of where we go when we die rests entirely on how we have lived our lives on earth. It depends entirely on the kind of person we are and our characteristics and our striving. Broadly speaking, because this question can only be tackled in this way, if we have been simple good-natured human beings who have striven to obey the Laws of God then we will find ourselves in a place that corresponds to our nature and striving.

A place where we find similar human beings of the same nature as ours who aspire for the Light of God. Needless to say that in such a place only joy and bliss exist and no suffering because whatever aspires to the Light and whatever is of the Light knows no suffering.

On the other hand, if we have been materialistic in our attitudes and striving, relegating spirituality to the background and even worse, becoming evil-minded in doing so, then we will also at our earthly death be drawn to places where there are similar human spirits, and needless to say that such a place will correspond exactly to the attitude of those who find themselves there.

Being human spirits who shun the Light and who have never made the effort while on earth to strive for the purity of the Luminous Heights, the environment likewise will be dark and gloomy where only suffering reigns supreme. This happening is so natural and depends entirely on the attitudes of the concerned human spirits. We are masters of our own fates and absolutely so since our inner attitudes determine the nature of the environments we find ourselves at our earthly death.

The great Creation’s Law of Spiritual Gravity takes effect in that the more materialist or the more evil we are, then the darker and heavier will be our spiritual bodies and as such the lower, the heavier and the darker the environment we find ourselves since this environment must correspond exactly to our nature which determines our spiritual weight.

According to the Law, evil minded and materialist human spirits are darker, heavier and as such must sink to regions in the Beyond which correspond to their weight level. On the other hand, good human spirits who have always striven for Light and Truth through the nature of their activities will correspondingly be lighter and as such be attracted to lighter regions corresponding to their weight.

Another great law takes effect here which is the Law of Attraction of Homogenous Species which stipulates that wherever we find ourselves in the great Beyond after our earthly death we also find human spirits of similar natures to ours because our similar natures have attracted all of us to a similar place whereby we have mutual experiences.

If we are good people then the experiences will be that of noble kinship and joyful existence but if we are evil then the experiences will correspond to the nature of the prevailing evil in that region we find ourselves; thus we have in the great Beyond a place for murderers, thieves and so on. It will be a place where only such type of people exist and live, carrying out their inner urges to the fullest extent without any form of restraint. It is not hard to imagine what a place like that must be like.

Such a dark place where only suffering reigns supreme is the so-called Hell of the Christian churches because life indeed in those regions is truly hellish more so than can be imagined by any man on earth today. The magnitude of the suffering that exists in such places is better left and consigned to the realms of our worst nightmares. If we could imagine our worst nightmares and then multiply that a thousand-fold then maybe that probably gives a little bit of an idea of what is in store for us if we do not change spiritually for the better. Then imagine being in that environment for decades, centuries and even for thousands of years, until finally we are found unworthy to continue to exist, eventually forfeiting our personalities, destroyed.

The call for our spiritual enlightenment and the change for the better could not be more urgent for which the Almighty God has already done everything that could be done for our salvation. It is now up to us to seek that which God has once more provided in His Word for our spiritual emancipation and salvation.

It must be emphasized here though that the question of being good human beings must be as seen and judged by God and not as we imagine it.

Physical death is the passing from the earthly plane into the world beyond. It is birth into the Beyond. It should not really hold so much terror for mankind as we are simply going back to a place we came from before incarnating on earth. For the person who has lived a morally upstanding life, fear of death is misplaced.

Those who should fear death are those who have lived unscrupulous lives and these have every right to be afraid. What awaits them is often so terrible that it is often better to live on, on the earthly plane. This is however, impossible and they must one day face up to the Truth.

The consequences of their unscrupulous lives await them and they fall victims to all the forms that they have created in their thoughts, words and deeds. At physical death, the ethereal body separates or steps out of the physical one as it has only been telescoped into it.

Depending on how an individual has lived his or her life, the silver cord which connects the ethereal body to the physical one is lighter or heavier. The lighter it is, the shorter it takes to degenerate and as such the easier it is for the soul to detach itself from the dying or dead physical body, whereas the heavier it is, the more difficult it is for the soul to detach itself leading to the so-called prolonged death struggle. During a longer or shorter period, the soul finds itself in a plane depending on its nature. On striving away from the physical body, it drags the astral body with it, which after a shorter or longer period also decays.

The Law of Spiritual Gravity determines where an individual finds himself after earthly death. What this simply means is that the weight of the individual determines where he goes and this weight is in turn determined by the individual’s nature. Those who have led morally upstanding earth lives have as result of their good spiritual volitions produced forms which have made their ethereal bodies lighter, whereas those of evil volition have produced forms which are darker and heavier. These consequently attach to their ethereal bodies and make the latter heavy. They therefore sink into the lower regions as a natural consequence of their weights.

There they will find the forms that they have produced and also human spirits of similar tendencies. There the evil tendencies are intensified and they try to inflict on each other what they tried to inflict on their fellow men while on earth. The unrestrained raging that occurs there cannot even be imagined. Those who find themselves in lighter areas will also encounter other human beings of similar nature. They will come together in kindness and peace and will join hands in the pursuit of the greater good.

So there is no question of it being all over when we die, nor is there a question of the suspended animation of the Christians. The core of man, the spirit continues to live and participate in an active existence in the Beyond in order to continually perfect the spirit for which purpose it has come into material Creation. What sense would it make for a human spirit to lie in some form of suspended animation? That defeats the purpose of life which is continual movement to perfect one’s spirit until finally one is so refined that we can finally return to Paradise which is our home.

For those who do not need to incarnate anymore on earth, then it is all a question of continually working on themselves in the Beyond. Gradually they lay aside all the various layers of the material bodies they acquired on their way through the various planes of Creation until at last they can enter the Spiritual realm as fully mature human spirits.

For those who still need to incarnate on earth, after a longer or a shorter period in the Beyond, then they incarnate on earth again into the exact circumstances that they need for further spiritual development. The experiences they acquire while on earth will help to refine their spirits and should normally make them rise higher in the Beyond when they have to pass on until finally they too will reach a stage where they will no longer need to incarnate on earth and as mentioned above will gradually rise towards Paradise their home.

For those who do not want to improve themselves spiritually, it becomes an endless cycle of incarnations and reincarnations whereby they never find their ways back home. They run the risk that when the time comes for the part of Creation (here or in the Beyond) where they find themselves has to undergo disintegration, they might be caught up in this because they have not been able to free themselves from matter in time for the journey home.

Therefore, it is now more urgent than ever to make haste and act in such a way that would allow us to free ourselves from matter in time. This can only be achieved through the acquisition of spiritual knowledge and the exercise of the spiritual good volition which makes our spirit bodies lighter. We then rise to lighter regions and gradually progress from there to our spiritual homes.

Additional notes on the beyond...

Where are all those who have died?

There are many ways in which this question is answered depending on the sect and the religion to which one belongs. Some say that some people are in Heaven, others in Hell and some others in Purgatory. There are even other sects who believe that there is no afterlife and that somehow after the second Coming of Jesus, those who are saved will be physically resurrected and so on and so forth.

The conceptions of Heaven and Hell is quite nebulous in the imagination of most people and nothing concrete has formed in the minds of anyone as to what these places look like and what kind of experiences these places engender.

There is no clear idea of anything and if more closely questioned then people simply resort to blind faith and rigid adherence to what is learnt but not understood. In general, the prevailing conception is that when we die if we are good (believing Jesus Christ and His Church), we go to Heaven but if we are evil, that is, non-believers in the Church of Jesus Christ then we go to Hell to burn for all eternity. In some sects there is an intermediate place called Purgatory which is for those who are neither completely good nor completely bad and where they might perhaps purify themselves until they are able to proceed to Heaven.

Where all these ideas come from nobody can tell, which leaves one to conclude that these are ideas thought out by men themselves and incorporated into the doctrines of the various sects and religions. Nobody has ever bothered to ask God what His own ideas are in these matters and whether their own ideas are actually true. After all it is only God Who can vouch for the truth of any teaching!

The lack of logic and the gaps often to be found in these teachings testify to the fact that these teachings could not have came from God because any illogical ideas or imperfect teachings cannot come from God since He is Perfect. It is impossible for any lack of logic and gaps to be associated with any teaching that comes from God because He is Absolute Perfection. It is because we are so far away from Him that it is even possible for us to imagine that the great Creator would be associated with such incomplete teachings. The inconceivable greatness of God makes that impossible.

Now the only conclusion to be drawn is that man himself has added his own ideas into things with his own imperfect outlook and logic and now imputes this imperfection to have come from God. The time is not far off when mankind will have to admit to this, forced by the Power of the Light.

Please refer to the article: “When we die where do we go” for further explanations but it suffices to say here that all those who have died are either in the various planes in the great Beyond which corresponds to their inner attitude or in some cases some are actually still earth-bound, held close to this earth because they are suspended on threads of fate which are too closely bound to the earth either through some deed or the other or through some base propensity or the other.

Those who have died therefore are still alive ethereally in the various realms in the Beyond where experiencing continues and growth and opportunity for further development and refinement continues as long as the souls concerned make use of the opportunities.

The place we find ourselves in the Beyond depends on the way we have lived our lives on earth, therefore it is imperative, since death is unavoidable to begin to pay more attention to spiritual things in time. Appearing pious and converting in the last hour before death means nothing. The creative Laws are not fooled.
