Musgum Ethnic Group In Cameroon

Cases Obos

These are the traditional engineers of Northern Cameroon. They belong to Musgum ethnic group. The houses they are building are known as "Cases Obos". They build them using compressed sun-dried mud and incase you wonder if they do last, some of these houses have been dated to 1100 C.E 

Another interesting information about this is that they have not commercialized this. Incase anyone needs a house they just mobilize and build for them and incase another needs they do the same.

I guess you can now tell why Africans were the richest people before Western "Civilization" intruded.
