Orunmila said he walked alone

The little rats

Of yesterday

Walked in ones, and

Twos

By the twilight of dawn

They have multiplied

He observed.....

Orunmila said he walked alone

They walked in twos, I reminded

Bara mi Agboniregun

The little fishes

Of yesterday

Walked in ones, and

Twos

By the twilight of dawn

They have multiplied

He confirmed.....

Orunmila said he walked alone

They walked in twos, I corrected

Bara mi Agboniregun

The little birds

Of yesterday

Walked in ones, and

Twos

By the twilight of dawn

They have multiplied

He said astonished.....

Orunmila said he walked alone

They walked in twos, I echoed

Bara mi Agboniregun

Those little animals

Of yesteryears

Walked in ones, and

Twos

By the twilight of dawn

They have multiplied

He said joyously.....

In the case then

Of one's own child

What can be offered

To make him/her multiply

And blossom

Financially and maritally

With good children

I asked to know.....

Save for the one

Who offers two ẹmọ́ rats

Two hen

The flesh of warthog, and

Two kola nuts

He demanded.....

We’ve gotten it all

And ready

With your requests

Bara mi Agboniregun.....

So you do not know

That in multitude

One sees ẹmọ rats?

In multitude

We behold the chickens?

In multitude

One encounter the warthogs?

In plenitude

Will my child live

He said assuredly

You don't need a degree in Management Science to understand the power of synergy.

Synergy is simply defined as common interaction of system components that leads to a result which is greater than the simple sum of component's parameters. For example, 2+2 may be equal to 5 or more.

Ọ̀rúnmìlà here is teaching about teamwork. Ifa promises to multiply you by pairing you with someone that will add real value to your being.

Even in times of war, countries seek alliances and at times ready to trade anything for victory.

When Ibadan warriors wanted to suffocate Èkìtì with levies and taxes, the Èkìtìs formed alliance with Ìjèsà. Together, they fought the Ibadan to standstill in the famed Kiriji war, to liberate themselves from the tyranny of Ààrẹ Latoosa and entire Ibadan warlords.
