YOU ARE REPLACEABLE

Afemi, Afemi, loba akoko se to fi te.

Why do human beings become swollen headed and assume an irreplaceable position when they think they are relevant?

What makes you think you are too important to be replaced? Iru Olorun nikan ni o si, iru eda po repete. Only God is not replaceable.

Yoruba's thought that without Awolowo, the entire Yoruba race would be marginalized. Abacha arrogated too much power to himself. Babangida is still alive but almost an invalid.

All these people had their own time. Power brokers. Where are they today?

If by chance or opportunity you find yourself important to someone, your people, community or even your nation, don't feel too important.

SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN IN THAT POSITION BEFORE YOU.

When you assume that nothing can be done without you, when you begin to query why some things are done without you, when you begin to think that every other person is less important than you, then just remember that you are climbing the ladder of self destruction.

MY FATHER USED TO TELL ME THAT "A RI E, LANPE E, BA O BA RI E, A PE ELOMI".

We call you because we see you, when we don't see you again, we shall call another person.

Ki la gbe ta ngbin? Ka to daye, won ti nsaye, igba ta daye, a nba won saye, taba tun lotan, won a tun ma saye lo.

Stop thinking you are too important. You are just a mere mortal. Whatever purpose you are serving today, it is not limited to you alone, there is always another option.

If God is using you for a purpose, don't over price yourself, that same God may decide to erase your entire story.

Remember that "iru eda po repete ".  You are just a pencil in the hands of God and He is currently using to write what He wants, once you begin to write wrong message, that same God will use another person as an eraser and you shall be cleaned off the board.

E se jeje o.
