Facts about Nairobi (Kenya's ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ช Capital)

1. Its Metropolis Population is the the 8th largest in Africa by Population.

2. Nairobi's GDP of roughly 35 Billion USD is the largest of any city in the larger East and Central Africa Region.

3. It's GDP is also larger than the GDP of 36 African Countries.

4. The above (3) means that if the Nairobi was a country in Africa, it would have the 19th largest GDP in the continent (as of 2022).

5. The City is home to 3 of the 10 tallest Skyscrapers in Africa (as of 2022).

6. Nairobi is the global headquarters of two major UN Agencies ie. UNEP and UN-Habitat;  regional HQs of multiple UN Agencies, and multiple international companies Africa headquarters e.g Microsoft, meta(Facebook), General electric, AVIC International, coca cola, IMF, World Bank, Toyota, Mitsubishi Motors, and money more.

7. Nairobi is currently home to the largest mall in Sub-Sahara Africa and North of Limpopo, the Two-Rivers Mall (soon to be overtaken by BBS mall in Eastleigh, Nairobi).

8. The City is home to Nairobi National Park, one of its kind in a capital city in the whole world.

9. Nairobi is a main gateway to Africa, with Jomo Kenyatta International Airport having connection flights to North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
