In 1946, Miss E A Adebonojo (from Ijebu-Ode, Yoruba Land, Western Nigeria) points to a map she has drawn on the blackboard showing Yoruba country in Nigeria, during a geography lesson at Marlborough Senior Girls School, Isleworth. According to the original caption, Miss Adebonojo has taken teacher training at the United Missionary College, Ibadan, and has taught at a girls' boarding school. She has won the Nigerian Teacher's Higher Elementary Certificate and is taking a year's general training course.
