ALÁÀFIN OF OYO IN 1900

This is king Alaafin of Oyo in 1900 with his two beautiful queens. As you can see, their shoulders are exposed. This is how ancient west Africans used to dress, why is it now considered immodest and indecent for a west African lady to expose her shoulder in her dressing?

I think we copied too much of foreign culture and values, something is wrong with us.

West Africa is very hot, you will live longer in that region if you expose your skin to the elements more in your day to day which is the opposite of middle-eastern and western climate where you have to extend your life by covering up as much as possible.

Our standards of beauty have changed too into some imaginary plastic, fake hair, fake skin color and fake nyash Disney movie characters.
