THE SYNOPTIC DISCOURSE
Ọkọ́ - the Hoe and Àdá - the Cutlass were engaged by their employer - the Farmer, for productivity. Both were employed separately, fully aware of their contractual obligations.
They went their separate ways, to consult on what needs to be done to justify their choice by the employer. If this is not RESPONSIBILITY, what else is?
The Cutlass and the Hoe were advised to offer prescribed sacrifices. Both complied. (WILLINGNESS exemplified).
Let us assume that the duo are the only workers engaged by this farmer. If only one of them, let's say Àdá is willing and the other - Ọkọ́ is not, what could have been the result of their joint efforts? Can you relate this with your business/marriage partner?
Let us sit and ponder on these...
*Are your talents being put into productive use?
*What is hindering your productive engagements? Complacence? Pride? Self abnegation?
*Can you justify your selection in the winning team?
*Will your selection make the team continue it's winning streak, or blank out?
*Do you know, part of the sacrifice to be made often times is to hone your skills to meet the present demand of your working environment?
