The Global African Awakening Ase'

This 49-meter-high bronze statue in Dakar Senegal built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the suburb is meant to symbolize the triumph of African liberation and rival the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower as a tourist destination.

Designed by Architect Pierre Goudiaby a Senegalese. It serves to commemorate the 'African Renaissance,' A goal of growth and prosperity for the African continent in the 21st century.

The monument was built to celebrate the rebirth of Africa and its cultural and historical heritage. The story behind this iconic structure is one of ambition, pride, and hope for a brighter future. It represents the rebirth of Africa, a symbol of unity, and a reminder of the continent’s potentials.
