Most claiming Ogbomosho are not real indigene of Ogbomosho. They are either from IJERU or Ile Igbon.
The Onpetu is the Paramount ruler of Olu-Oje people of IJERU while, OLUGBON is the ancient Traditional Ruler in Ile Igbon. Both are true and direct descendants of ODUDUWA from ILE IFE.
Ogbomosho has its Progenitor (an Ibaruba man, Soun Ogunlola), is the center of civilisation in that geographical area due to its quick embracement of the Colonial masters by the then Baale of Ogbomosho.
Baale of Ogbomosho in the Oyo State Traditional Council upgraded and approved as (a beaded king) Soun of Ogbomosho in 1974.
Example, S.L Akintola (late Premier of Western Region) was paternally from Ile Igbon and, maternally from IJERU.....
