The US spent about 2 decades in Afghanistan

She lost thousands of her personnel and hardwares prosecuting the war on terror yet made no headway in spite of her superior power and military intelligence.

Eventually, they surrendered to common sense recently and disengaged from Afghanistan. That's the most commonsensical approach. If Afghans want democracy let them decide by themselves but not by imposition.

Nevertheless, not yet up to 1 week of US disengagement, many of the Afghan soldiers are already surrendering to the Taliban. Note that these men had been part of the Taliban but pretended to be with the US by working as spies and compromising their security.

I have some friends in US army and I can tell you with certainty that even the US knew they were fighting an unwinnable war. You can't dislodge religious ideology which has been the driving force of the Talibans just like Boko Haram and their Northern enablers.

This is where Northern Nigeria is headed to which may eventually consume the rest of Nigeria.

Nigeria as a country can't fight terror because terrorists are the ones controlling power.

The only way you can defeat an ideology is to insulate yourself from that ideology.

You can keep lying to yourselves about the future of Nigeria.

You can also keep praying to God for the unity of Nigeria especially to remain in the same country with people sympathetic to terror based on ethnic and religious affiliations. I won't begrudge you.

However, you all will eventually become casualties of your hypocrisy and thoughtlessness.

This is the absolute truth.

The best thing the south can do for themselves,  is to peacefully break away from this Jihadist North.

These guys will not change . A majority of them subscribe to BH and Bandits ideology.

They keep on pretending to hate it because of the flow of the crude oil from the Niger Delta.

They need the oil monies to fuel their warped ideology.

Tell me why the terror networks and activities have expanded over that last 6 years despite the wastage  of over N10trillion of our common  resources.

Imagine what N10trillion of the Niger Delta oil wealth would have done in cleaning ogoni and other places if  the people of the south south have developed common sense and pulled away from this jungle.

If  the US with superior fire power, intelligence and total commitment of the soldiers in 20years  could not defeat the talibans,  whose ideology represents the minds of a majority of Afghans , just as the ideology of  BH and Bandits represents the ideology and leaning  of the majority of the people of the NE and NW. Why do you think the Bandits in power in Nigeria can defeat the Bandits in the field?
