Am constrained on this subject, yet I must write to address it, irrespective of the volatility of the meanings that will be generated from it and that will be manufactured for it by individuals and group, that may do a postmortem on it, when am done with the last full stop of these words.
Let's not forget too soon that, Nigeria is at the moment strangulated by this same purpose as it's a strain from leadership albatross over years, now infectious on followers, where thieves were succeed by armed robbers and now terrorist/ kidnappers are succeeding armed robbers and only God knows who succeeds who next, based on the unfolding daily terrible events, that now laces our ears and eyes like Christmas trees.
It's not wrong to have a loyalist or loyalists, neither is it wrong to have follower(s) or some one or some persons being groomed to take over or succeeds one at a given time, either as a result of time, age, health or even the ultimate death or just in case any eventualities of periodic occupations or law.
I must sound this very clearly, that the first line-charge error, is that majority don't even train anyone to replace them, no, they are short sighted to the extent that their selfish garb covers their eyes and minds to the need to be replaced, to them, they can't possibly shed the toga of *me alone*; I wonder if it's the home alone Hollywood fixes!
This is real sad, that this error is still gladly being ignorantly committed day in, day out, even in businesses that are critical and needed *sustainability*, some moguls, don't have trainned successors arising or deductible from operations of those, who have watched them and followed them for years as they made the mistakes and made the successes, little wonder the nation is thrown into this jeopardy and mountains of errors of judgement.
The Nigerian Civil Service use to have this and the military as well as para military in those days, that I grew up to know and you almost can tell who is the next what in leadership ranking, but today; it's no longer so, it has been bastardized by short circuited failed bastard politicization politicians who find themselves in offices, like when a slave is enthroned in error, then everything by a narrow minded and not to do well mistakenly called leaders.
When one find his or self in position of authorities, either by rigology, judicialthiefology, thugeryology or even never imagined stone aged shameful acts, they kill a system.
I fell on this subject because, we all wondered how we got to where we are and I see that, aside our largely poor inability to speak the truth or do the truthful, this is another most dangerous curve scattering the road map to greatness of our dear nation- Nigeria and sadly enough, this starts from ordinary Councilors, if you permit me to use that adjective to simplify that office for the purpose of our rudimentary understanding! and of course corroborated by followers' centrifugal failures defined by penury.
The likes of legend Awolowo, Sadauna and Zik seem to have successors and their successors does not have successor as we can talk openly of the Aminu Kanos, the Bola Iges, the Melford Okilos, but now, who succeeded these ones? Now, you are coming nearer to my pain that is the unknown cause of the pains in the land amalgamated in 1914.
Today, each of us at 30 and above years should search our conscience and answer our inner mind, who are you raising, training, mentoring, tutoring or leading to replace you? Am sure if you do a simple sampling around friends, your church, street, mosque, groups and so on, you will be shocked at the epileptic answer of *NONE*; that will realistically confront you like a moon in the darkest part of the day and a sweat in the coldest region of the world, even while it rains. At least not all are not trainable.
Why, why and why this parochial way of life? Why will any one think he or she will be the last don? Why will anyone think he or she will outlive God? Why will anyone assume that, he or she is the summit or acme or finality of occupation, even the irreplaceable Almighty God, who created us raised the Angels for certain purposes and they are still fulfilling that till date, look at some churches, when the head pass on, replacement becomes a war, look at some Islamic Organizations or and Traditional stools, same happens, why?
The lack of deliberately setting someone or some persons on the line by mentoring them and or raising them to carry on from where you may have stopped, either by time factor, age, health or the position of law is a sin against God and crime against humanity.
It is important to now look at the ones who cares or bother to raise people these few years after the likes of the exits of the Late Bola Iges and across board noticing the failed bridges! What do they raise, or what are they raising deliberately or in error.
In my understanding of the political system or the career system otherwise, known as the Civil Service, I noticed, its the same pattern of picking on the WEAK amongst the likely followers or onlookers who the man or woman in power or authority or position of influence sees from his or her on feeble and narrow minded position as unfit and unable to question/ query him or her or revolt against him or her as they will lowly in their thoughts put it undignifiably and thus, making the brilliant, smart and thinking ones automatic enemies without a SIN or OFFENCE against them.
Going forward in their backward movements, they hope and think such can cover their ass in their evils and unconstitutional conducts, this leading to the high rise in numbers of weaklings in our offices and positions of authorities. These same persons can't even defend them when eventually their leadership is threatened or retain that office thereafter, leading to disjoint and FAILURE or total collapse of the system or even them getting kicked out of such positions, such decision is largely accountable for why, some businesses are dead today, some political ideologies are gone into oblivion and some supposed strong development concepts and movements are faintly noticed, if ever they are noticed around.
*IF you are truly a leader who is worth your onions, the ones behind you couldn't have successfully outwit you and if you lead on facts and truth with the fear of God*; this is why Lucifer the first follower to revolt failed, not because he led a revolt against God, but because God had a successor plan over years amongst the same sets of angels and was leading them in fair and right consciences, known till date in different or thru religions, if it were we, then there wouldn't be a world today, am too sure.
It is therefore, on this note that, I state emphatically that, our leadership should stop raising weaklings, stop giving any system people who can't stand on their feets, stop pushing or empowering people who don't have a sincere plan towards life, discontinue the patronage of people who can't defend even themselves or them when troubles come for them, disconnect people who can't be men (time of deciding) but suck breasts when they are jogging, they should look inward and pick those who ask them questions once in a while and don't follow them into bushes, for these are the real glories of tomorrow and today that they as leaders, leading would be happy for and about them.
Hmmmm, even most of these so called chosen has even abandoned their so called leaders, particularly in politics and had jumped ship, they couldn't stand simple trying periods, hunger had gotten them off their unstable feets for they lacked simple etiquette and principle of balance to life, the leaders should stop actually redefining themselves as walking alone and not leaders; *as this is what weak chosen ones do to them, by skinning them after making them nude in the public*
The nation is suffering it, why other smaller nation's and countries regarded then as third world and even war ravaged ones now, have stronger currencies than ours, you may be quick to be a cheat by saying you were or are not a President or Governor or Minister but the dumb skulls you produced and put on the people through an office or the other or use your influence wrongly, have cumulative inputs in the aggregate nonsense that ungloriously unbundled us (Nigerians) here, at least for those of you who are still alive not sparing the memories of the late FAILURE contributors, the Bible says *their works follow them...*
Yet, we have a time to rethink and reposition and safe the people of these hazards by stopping the self-manufactured hates for those that are worthy and fit in their actions and thoughts, that you know and the world around you knows, and you can only identify, we should stop making them imaginary enemies, we should pick them on identifying them and school them through the rudiments with the fear of God and remember that we also have children and the risk of them harvesting from.our evils and poor deliberate wickedness of judgement (s), and am sure we be glad we did.
Stop substandard mentoring and production of questionable characters as successors.
God is waiting to ask you and judge you accordingly, your memories will be blessed and prayed for, if you have chosen the right one and not the weaklings that messes up the system!!!!
