African spirituality is the explanation of nature and its religion is the ritual of blending with it.
For those who don't know what ẹbọ and Àkọ́ṣe Ifá does, it is to smoothen rough edges in one's interaction with the universe that might induce stress either in the soul or the body.
You grow so old in African spirituality that you can decide to turn into a river retaining your eternal essence. As long as you stand on the path of truth, you shall exist forever.
We don't die in African spirituality, we become Egungun (the Masquerade). Good Awo (the Deep)is the one that becomes Good Egungun (the Masquerade).
Your life is summarized in your Ifá, your ẹbọ and Àkọ́ṣe. That's Olódùmarè's precious gift for you to live a fulfilled life to becoming an Egungun/Òrìṣà (the Masquerade and Deity).
It's up to you to use it or reject it.
