NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT

With all the problems that the country is facing, isn't it treasonous for the government of the country not to have found a solution to it that it has communicated to the citizenry to mobilize them towards a national character that will address our problems?

What then is the "Government" for?

Our people here use it to Lord over the people because they picked up the structure of their colonial masters who used brutal force to subdue the land. They saw the Oyinbo man live among them in his "untouchable" state, that even the kings are at his mercy! They too aspired to be as BOSSY like him someday. They aspired to be "Governors" and all other titles.

All they know is how to get the god-complex, get inside the jeeps with the whole security guards, speak big grammar at rallies and dole out monies.

If I am wrong in my assessment of my countrymen, tell me why the government has not initiated the process for a referendum in response to the several self-determination agitations going up and down in the country. All that they are maintaining is that "Nigeria's Unity is Non-negotiable". If a government is going to be responsive and not military, shouldn't the government be willing to yield to the people and at least calm the tension by allowing the process of a free and fair referendum to be conducted? Wouldn't that have been where the FG will be able to convince the agitators that the majority of Nigerians believe that Nigeria's Unity is Non-negotiable? Are they the ones to choose for the masses? How do we know where the masses tilt if not through a Plebiscite?

The Nigerian government blindly refuses the agitations of the people, instead, the Nigerian president reminded them of a Civil War. A War that he didnt get any recommendation for. Did he forget those who made the war decisive? No, he didn't forget. His tweet was the psychological tactic of a scared man. He wants you to get scared first and so retreat. Scream at him and he will pee in his pants. Isn't that tweet a pee in the pant? Yesterday, comedian Malami posted on his Facebook account that he has deactivated his Twitter account. Like a child begging for attention (I say this with every sense of respect to the Childfolk), the Attorney general of the federation was trying to put a face - to be liked by his employers I suppose. I doubt if Malami's children or wife will be happy with their father. Buhari's own is even confirmed. He doesn't have a home. One of his daughters who got married during this their brief period on the throne got divorced from a Billionaire. This was brought to public notice after news had broken that the ICPC wants the Buhari's son-inlaw for millions of dollars fraud. The presidency released a statement saying that the marriage had crashed and that the president's daughter and the man are no longer married to each other.

Indulge me please, if I am wrong in this my analysis or judgment of the government, is there a more intelligent way that the APC administration (All of them Occupying Offices from the very head to the tail) wants to employ in solving the present agitations of the people that is different from referendum towards a constitutional amendment?

I don't mean to insult elders o, elders should pick the questions/reasoning and deal with it and let go of their emotion that feels disrespected or offended by my tone. No, this is no disrespect. This is a conscious soul speaking its mind without having to fear that another conscious soul would misinterpret it into disrespect - let's focus on issues raised.

What exactly is the Nigerian government doing? Whoever knows should please enlighten me!
