Translations:
Orunmila said with ease
With ease; I repeated
Bara-mi-Àgbọnìrègún
He said the day breaks
With ease.
Ọ̀runmila said with ease
With ease; I responded
Bara-mi-Àgbọnìrègún
He said the sun sets
With ease.
A calabash handled with ease
Will never break
A plate carried with ease
Will never fracture
What we tend with ease
Will not rupture
That which is handle with force
Is as tough as stone.
Impatience leads
To a sudden fall.
No one falls
With an easy ride.
A dirge for the Mighty
Will be sung
Passing through the backyard
Of the Meek.
Ifá admonishes us to imbibe the virtues of easiness.
Everything happens at its appointed time. The bitter truth is, you cannot force the hand of time.
You are but an infinitesimal
part of the entire cosmos.
At the appropriate time, everyone will be served what he deserves. You can only rush things at your own peril.
