With a population of 145,170 individuals, Syracuse is New York’s most populous city. It is also the county seat of Onondaga County. Syracuse is regarded as Central New York’s educational and economic hub. The Syracuse University and the Le Moyne College located in the city are both nationally recognized educations institutions. In 2010, Syracuse was designated by Forbes as one of the 10 best places in the US to raise a family.
