BLACK HISTORY

They won’t teach you in school that “The Ancient Ta-Setians (Nubians) Created the First Civilization and Writing System” by Jermaine Thomas. An Ancient African Civilization

____

The world’s first civilization was Ta-Seti, also known as Nubia (present-day Southern Egypt and Northern Sudan) (Rensberger, 1979).

The Ta-Setians (Nubians) are the ancestors of the ancient Kemites (Egyptians). It’s also true that “the idea of pharaoh [came] down the Nile from Nubia to Egypt [and] that would make Nubian civilization the ancestor of Egypt’s, at least in one critical aspect” (Browder, 1992).

One of the hallmarks of a civilization is the creation of a writing system, and it has been found that writing began in Ta-Seti before Kemet (Egypt). Furthermore,  the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) writing system is modeled after that of the Ta-Setians (Nubians).

Diodorus Siculus (90 BCE - 30 BCE), an Ancient Greek historian, remarked on the formation of the ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) writing system, which is known as the sesh medu netcher (hieroglyphics).

He states, “We must now speak about the Nubian (Ethiopian)* writing which is called hieroglyphics among the Egyptians” (Home Team History, 2020). Diodorus goes on to state that “the shape of their statutes and the forms of their letters are Nubian (Ethiopian); for of the two kinds of writing which the Egyptians have, that which is known as ‘popular’ (demotic), is learned by everyone, while that which is called ‘sacred’ is only understood by the priests of the Egyptians, who learn it from their fathers as one of the things which are not divulged, but among the Nubians (Ethiopians) everyone uses these forms of letters” (Home Team History, 2020).

Western academics and Egyptologists have attempted to hide this history, as they’ve promulgated the notion that Egypt is the cradle of civilization, but that it was created by Europeans, Indo-Europeans, Levantines, or simply non-Black Africans. The ancient Kemites (Egyptians) were indeed Black-Africans, but their writing system originated in Ta-Seti (Nubia). This has been covered up, in part, by creating hydroelectricity dams that have submerged many of the physical artifacts of Ta-Seti (Nubia) under water.  As the saying goes, “the further back in history you go, the Blacker it gets.” This is why French scholar, Count Constantin de Volney (1757 - 1820) once said the following: “Just think that this race of black men, today our slave and the object of our scorn, is the very race to which we owe our arts, sciences, and even the use of speech” (Diop, 1974/1955, p. 28).

● (Note: The ancient Greeks subsumed the ancient Ta-Setians or Nubians under the category of Ethiopians, which is why you’ll find the term “Ethiopian” in parentheses next to “Nubian” when quoting Diodorus. “Ethiopian is a Greek word meaning “burnt faces”).
