"Ọ̀nà Ọ̀fun ni ọ̀nà ọ̀run"
Have you ever thought of the reason why you are hungry (Ebi pípa) ?
Have you ever thought of the Hungers (Ebi)
Have you ever discovered that your throat (Ọ̀fun) and stomach (Ikùn) are two Oríta's?
Think of this. When you understand this, you will realize why eating is not actually for you but for other creatures hidden in your system.
When you and digests quickly, that means you give them what they need and they are happy. However, when you eat and it stay too long in your stomach till you become uncomfortable, that means you have given them (Èèwọ̀) which make them to reject your offering.
Everything you take in through your mouth is a sacrifice (Ẹbọ). When you drink water, you venerate with Ọ̀ṣun. When you eat fried things with fire or eat something worm or hot, you venerate with Sàngó. When you eat something dried or in form of powder, you venerate with Èṣù. When you smoke in, or eat smoked thing, you venerate with Ọya and when you eat something like milk or white food, you venerate with Ọbàtálá.
In this case, there are different points for all the aforementioned and others that are not mentioned in your body. So, when you can locate them, you can actually channel your food to where you actually need to serve your spiritual purpose.
This science was what gave birth to medicine. And this is our forefathers have different approaches to feeding the essentials in the body started from powder herbs, liquid herbs (for drinking and taking of bath), burned herbs, medicinal soups, acupuncture marks on the skin and so many others.
However, apart from spiritual purposeful eating, all foods eaten serve magnetic purpose for natural and spiritual realization. Therefore, eating something good for your body is sacrifice. And this is why sometimes, something they need will just come to your mind to eat.
You may ask why do we put sacrifice at Junctions. It is because the universe is like the body to heaven and the roads on it have throats as well. And, because all creatures are also connected as all in us are connected, we give to them what they need to get what we need. Any sacrifice is feeding.
Think over this and see why different foods are prepared as sacrifice. It is all about the energy you need in exchange and the type of creatures that have the energy and the type of food you can give to them to receive their energy.
Remember this "Ọ̀nà Ọ̀fun ni ọ̀nà ọ̀run".
